OVERVIEW
It all started with my love for numbers, so I got a master's degree in statistics. I am a passionate storyteller and I landed my first job as “Numerical storyteller a.k.a statistician” in a boutique research firm. My interest in technology has grown and data mining, machine learning, and data science fascinated me to pursue my career in “data science”. I took several roles in data science as “Senior Data Mining Specialist”, “Senior Data Scientist”, & “Principal Data Scientist” where I crunched terabits of data to infer meaningful stories and teach machines to take actions for business benefits. Talking about business, I later took serious business functional roles such as Practice head, Business head where I was influencing medium to large organizations on the “digital transformation” agenda. Then, I realized the success of AI implementation is in making products intelligent – so that landed me into product management.
